N is for New York

Lighter version of this palette for a brighter day.

New York is where my bf lives and therefore, my second home. We met there in person for the first time on New Year's Eve at a bar called @playwright45thnyc in Midtown. That was my first time in NYC back in 2013. We were just friends then and we stayed friends for 2 years until we started dating. I've been to this city a total of 8 times so far and it never gets old. There's just so much stuff to do and everyone who has visited knows exactly what I'm talking about. It's such a diverse and ever-changing place. My bf and I agree that we would find it hard to live almost anywhere else in the country because we would need to drive everywhere. I was born in a very big city and having a wide range of places nearby and open until very late is something I've been spoiled with. We love that you can go anywhere in NYC using public transport and that the city encourages you to walk and move around a lot. Personally, I love the fact that we are near the ocean and also far enough north so that we get very hot summers and very cold winters (well… I don't like the cold part but I'm in love with snow and how magical New York looks during the winter--slippery and dirty aspects aside 😂).

Our favorite places to eat/drink in NYC are: @westvillenyc, @thepennynyc, @taralluccinyc, @uvanyc, Bavaria Bierhaus (omg, we found out the other day that it's closed now!), @reichenbachhall and more recently, Bamonte in Williamsburg.
Our go-to places for walks are Battery Park and Central Park @centralparknyc. Every time I visit New York, I literally discover something new or have a new spot in mind that I want to explore. It's never-ending amazement.
